John 1:1–18

In the opening section of John's gospel, John describes Jesus as the Word—the faultless revelation of God who became flesh to communicate God's love and holiness to humanity. John argues that Jesus must be the divine Son of God because He is eternal, He created all things, and He gives eternal life to anyone who believes in Him. Jesus became human to display grace and truth and explain God the Father to each one of us. You can put your faith in Jesus because He is Lord.
