Every time the New Year rolls around, people turn their attention both backward and forward. We think back over the previous year and take stock of how far we’ve come, and then we look forward, resolving to do better and be better than we’ve ever been. New Year’s is a great time for this kind of self-evaluation, so let’s spend some time thinking about five certainties for this upcoming year. You’ll want to be aware of these realities as you consider your own goals for the New Year.
