1 Peter 2:4–12

One of Scripture’s most beautiful depictions of God’s relationship with His people is that of a caring Father relating with His beloved children.

Despite the persistence of sin and willful disobedience, God still loves and cherishes His own. According to 1 Peter 2:4–12, God views followers of Jesus as chosen ones, holy ones, His own possessions, and objects of His mercy.
